Jessica Alba HypnoBirthing birth story

Hypnobirthing has helped thousands of women birth calmly and fear-free.

It is nice to know that a popular actress such as Jessica Alba is happy to say she has found HypnoBirthing to be of help, not only with her first baby’s birth, but also with her second pregnancy and preparation for birth.

During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Jessica Alba talked about the HypnoBirthing advantages for birth.

Jessica describes some of her previous HypnoBirthing experience in the following way: “…basically my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. So he’s like saying, ‘You’re relaxed and you’re floating on clouds, while you’re going through labor and your contractions. He just sort of does a guided meditation. I’m just concentrating on breathing and staying relaxed because it’s when you get tense that makes the whole labor worse and more painful. That’s all it is. It’s not like a weird thing.”

When she was Hypnobirthing her first baby she said: “…it is kind of a way to relax and know that the contraction will only last for so long. You just need to concentrate on the breathing and just the sound of his voice.”

This is what one supporter said of Jessica Albas’ Hypnobirthing plans: “Hypnobirthing is exactly as she says, you let your conscious mind relax so your subconscious mind can do what it instinctually knows how to do, which is give birth. It’s great that she’s using it and promoting it. In my opinion, it’s much safer than the snowball of medical procedures that happen when you go from pitocin to epidural to c-section. Good for her and even better for her baby!”

This is exactly what many couples I had the privilege to work with have found to be true for them. Take a moment and read Hypnobirthing birth stories feedback pages to get a better idea of what couples can achieve to birth more calmly.
