Similarly, International Society of Hypnosis symposium (Aug 2015) discussed the state-of-the-art of hypnosis research. As a result, by using neuro-imaging, they were able to validate the existence of neural networks leading to effectiveness of neuro-hypnotherapy. Above all, the study participants reported many positive responses to clinical hypnosis treatments.
It was concluded that changes in the brain, particularly while in hypnosis, create a brain phenomena called neuroplasticity. (Oakley and Halligan 2013).
