Weight issues and obesity are becoming widespread, but how do you know if you are at that critical point of being overweight. To maintain your healthy shape and size, below information can help you estimate your Body Mass Ratio.
Assess if you are overweight, have a look at the below BMI Chart.
BMI is an index of weight-to-height ratio, it is commonly used to classify underweight, overweight and obese adults.
It is defined as weight in kilograms divided by the height in metres squared (kg/m2).
For example, an adult weighs 70 kilos and is 1.75m tall has a BMI of 22.9.
- BMI = 70 kg / (1.75 m2) = 70 / 3.06 = 22.9
Below Body Fat Percentage Chart not only reveals the percentage of body fat, but also gives you a clear guide as to whether your weight is a serious problem for your overall health and wellbeing.
Underweight BMI = <18.50
Normal BMI Range = ≥24.99
Overweight BMI = ≥30.00
Obese BMI Range = ≥35.00+
Now that you know your BMI score, you are in a better position to decide if you would benefit from Hypnotherapy to turn your life around and to get your weight under control.
A specialised field of hypnotherapy known as Hypno-Gastric-Band, is a therapy designed to have your mind and body believe that a gastric band had been fitted, effectively reducing your appetite and the size of the stomach.
Go here to find a brief description of the Hypno-Gastric-Band hypnotherapy sessions, consisting of four one hour sessions.
First session of hypnosis helps to identify underlying reasons for your weight issues, such as; snacking, comfort eating or overeating.
Final session of hypnosis is to assess your progress and to make any adjustments needed.
Here is some feedback received:
“I eat healthier meals and enjoy long walks”.
“I eat breakfast, I walked to work and I use the stairs”
“I have cut out soft drinks and now only drink water”
“I get full faster an stay fuller longer, even though I’m eating less”.
The best way to reach your desired weight is to make it gradual.
In conclusion, don’t expect instant results, but eat healthy meals, smaller portions & chew thoroughly.
Continue working out and watch the weight melt off.
